Ingate Presents “SIP Trunking: Everything You Need to Know” Seminarsat INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference & Expo East 2009
New Carrier-Focused Session, ROI Case Studies Illustrate How SIP Trunks Drive Business, Reduce Costs Fast
STOCKHOLM – January 12, 2009 – Educating end users, resellers, distributors and systems integrators about SIP trunking is on the agenda as Ingate® Systems partners with TMC, leading IP-PBX vendors, SIP trunking service providers and industry thought-leaders to offer “SIP Trunking: Everything You Need to Know” seminars at the INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference & Expo East 2009.
Free to all ITEXPO attendees, these seminars will provide a comprehensive overview of SIP trunking, and include general information panels and technical insight sessions from both the service provider and enterprise perspectives. Speakers from VOIPSA and the SIP Forum will also participate.
The seminars will be held February 2-4, 2009 at the Miami Beach Convention Center in room B114/115.

Session for Carriers with J. Arnold & Associates A
new session, “Just
for Carriers: SIP Trunk Intensive Workshop,” will feature an
in-depth analysis on SIP trunks to address
the unique needs of this audience. The seminar will be presented by
Jon Arnold, principal, J. Arnold &
Associates and Marc Robins, president and managing director,
SIP Forum, followed by a crash course in deploying
SIP trunks with Avaya and Ingate. The ROI of SIP Trunking Case studies detailing real-world deployments will illustrate how SIP trunks deliver a significant return-on-investment. These seminars will be presented by the SIP trunking users themselves as well as their partner ITSP and/or IP-PBX vendors. In addition, J. Arnold & Associates will present a Technology Survival Roadmap session discussing opportunities for today’s economy.
Security Seminars, Live Demos, “How-To” Sessions on Deployments Security sessions with VOIPSA will discuss VoIP and SIP trunk security. Step-by-step, interactive whiteboarding seminars with Avaya and BandTel will illustrate the what, why and how of SIP trunking architecture as well as the ITSP perspective. A SIP Trunking Boot Camp for “Basic Training” on SIP trunk installations, led by Ingate, is free for all attendees this season.
Live demonstrations, during which participants will set up a SIP trunk in 20 minutes or less on-site, will also be featured.
Attendees can earn a SIP Trunking Professional Certificate by participating in the Professional Development Program on the first day of the Show.
SIPconnect Workshop A SIP Forum Best Practices Workshop: Building Interoperable SIP Trunking Solutions with SIPconnect, will also be featured. The workshop will provide an overview of the what and why of SIPconnect, the SIPconnect value proposition, a "deep dive" into the SIPconnect technical recommendation including an overview of the new 1.1 version of the recommendation, a step-by-step overview of the SIPconnect Compliant Pro gram application process and lessons learned from actual SIPconnect deployments.
Confirmed Speakers include Airespring, Avaya, BandTel, Bandwidth.com, BBTelsys, Cbeyond, Digium/Asterisk, Iwatsu, Kool Smiles and ShoreTel. Though leaders from J. Arnold & Associates, The SIP Forum and VoIP Security Alliance (VOIPSA) will also participate.
