Ingate Systems Receives 2009 NGN Leadership Award from NGN Magazine
SIParator with SIP Trunk Software Module Honored for Outstanding Innovation
STOCKHOLM
– April 23, 2009 –Ingate® Systems, a leading developer of enabling SIP trunking, NAT traversal, remote connectivity solutions and SIP security edge devices for service providers, IP-PBX vendors and end-users, announced today that Technology Marketing Corporation (TMC) has named the Ingate SIParator® with SIP Trunking software module as a recipient of the First Annual NGN Leadership Award presented by its publication, NGN, www.ngnmag.com.
The SIParator with the SIP trunk software module installed allows enterprises to easily connect their IP-PBX to an Internet telephony service provider's SIP trunk by solving interoperability issues between the IP-PBX and the SIP trunking service provider, and at the same time eliminating the Network Address Translation (NAT) traversal issues associated with the SIP protocol while maintaining the security and integrity of the network. It is a flexible solution that has proven interoperability with the leading SIP-based IP-PBX systems and service provider networks.
Working in parallel to the traditional firewall, the SIParator handles the traversal and security of SIP traffic while leaving the original firewall in place to secure data traffic. The SIParator offers the highest level of security for VoIP, supporting Secure Real Time Protocol (SRTP) which provides one of the most secure environments for Internet telephony and VoIP applications available.
"SIP trunking is a cost-effective method of enabling VoIP that has been proven to pay for itself in less than a year. Ingate's SIParator with SIP Trunking makes VoIP deployments work smoothly and solves interoperability issues between the IP-PBX and ITSP," said Anders Eriksson, Chief Executive Officer, Ingate Systems. "Ingate is proud to once again be recognized by NGN magazine and TMC."
The NGN Leadership Award has been established to recognize outstanding achievement in the IP Communications community, including outstanding products, services and technologies relating to IMS and NGN environments.
"Ingate has been recognized for their exceptional work in advancing IMS and NGN services and technologies, and we honor the SIParator with SIP Trunking software module with an NGN Leadership Award. With the significant growth in next generation network technologies, receiving this award distinguishes them as a leader in the industry," stated Rich Tehrani, president of TMC.
The 2009 NGN Leadership Award winners can be found in the May/June 2009 issue of NGN magazine, www.ngnmag.com.
