Ingate Introduces Firewall 2950 and SIParator 95 for Large Enterprises and Service Providers

High Capacity, RAID Technology for Superior Reliability

STOCKHOLM – May 26, 2009 –SMART-COM 2009 - STOCKHOLM - May 26, 2009 - Ingate® Systems, which develops firewall technology and products that enable trusted Unified Communications, announces today the new Ingate Firewall® 2950 and Ingate SIParator® 95, two high capacity, high performance SIP security products made for large enterprises and service providers.

Designed to enable secure SIP communications for the largest installations, the new Firewall and SIParator can handle up to 1,800 concurrent sessions, or simultaneous VoIP calls (RTP sessions), at any given time. Offering advanced redundancy protection, they feature available RAID controller cards to protect against the failure of two drives.

Both the Ingate Firewall 2950 and SIParator 95 have 6 interfaces and offer 4.5 Gbit/s throughput. They include 50 SIP user licenses that can be used for the registration of SIP users on the SIP registrar. 50 SIP traversal licenses are also included, allowing up to 50 calls to traverse the firewall simultaneously. Additional SIP traversal licenses can be purchased at any time.

The new models are 1u high, making them easily rack mountable. They boast a redundant power supply and RAID 1 with hot swop disks for maximum reliability.

Encrypted VoIP Calls
Ingate products support Transport Layer Security (TLS) for secure SIP signaling. They also support encrypted SRTP (Secure Realtime Transport Protocol), providing a high level of security for live data with advanced encryption, confidentiality, message authentication and replay protection. When combined, these protocols further shield users from eavesdroppers, hackers and spoofers.
