How to register using Windows Messenger
- Start Windows Messenger. You will find it either as an icon on the
menu bar at the bottom of your screen (two schematic
bodies) or as an icon in your Internet Explorer.
- You are now asked to select service. Select SIP Communications
Service. Say no to .NET Passport if you are not using it with any
other server.
- Then enter a login name. It should look like an e-mail address:
bosse@trysip.ingate.com.
- Press the Advanced button. A new window will open, where you
choose Automatic configuration and press OK.
- Now your SIP configuration is finished. Press OK again.
- When you want to log in with your SIP user, use the link with the
login name. No password is needed.
