Management Team
Anders Eriksson
Chief Executive Officer
Before joining Ingate in 2008 Anders Eriksson served as chief
executive officer and member of the board for Zitius Service Delivery
AB, a leading broadband communications operator in Sweden that he
co-founded in 2003. He also held a pivotal leadership role at Alcatel
Nordics (now Alcatel-Lucent), a global supplier of telecommunications
equipment and services, where he led the Broadband Communications
Division as general manager, based in Denmark. He steered Alcatel
Nordics through post-merger integration activities after the company
acquired Newbridge Networks A/S, a leading Canadian broadband and
telecommunications equipment manufacturer, where Anders had
served as Chief Executive Officer of the Nordic operations. Previous
to Alcatel Nordics, he was sales director for the Network Systems
Division at Siemens in Sweden.
Anders holds a Master of Science degree in Industrial and Management Engineering, from Linkoping Institute of Technology (Sweden).
Janne MagnussonVP Operations
Formerly a project manager at Cendio Systems, Janne
Magnusson led the team responsible for developing the product that was the
father to Ingate’s series of firewalls. When Cendio teamed with
Intertex Data to form Ingate, Janne became Ingate’s Director
of Development, responsible for merging Cendio’s firewall
product with Intertex’s SIP-capability to creating a suite of
products that would enable small to midsized businesses to utilize
SIP-based IP communications such as presence, instant messaging,
video/audio conferencing and IP telephony. Prior to joining Cendio
Systems, Janne accrued a wide range of communications and network
experience in both the business and military sectors, including one of
the first implementations of the SAAB 39 Gripen fighter
aircraft’s Command and Control System. Janne holds a degree in
electrical engineering from the University of Kalmar in Sweden.
Per Cederqvist
Chief Architect/Director of Development
Having been on the firewall development team since 1996, Per Cederqvist
is one of the persons that has worked with the Ingate
Firewall product line the longest. At the University of Linköping Per
studied computer technology and while studying he co-founded
the company Cendio Systems (then known as Signum Support). Per has also
been working as a programming consultant and written the CVS
manual. During his time at the university Per successfully participated
in several international programming contests.

Steven Johnson
President, Ingate Systems Inc.
Steven Johnson is a President of Ingate Systems Inc. Steve most
recently served as CEO of Abrena, Inc., a business development
consulting firm focused on assisting European and North American
firms expand in the United States. Prior to that, Steve was President
and CEO of Transcept, Inc., a telecommunications infrastructure
company that develops products to economically enhance wireless
network coverage and capacity. Prior to this position Steve was a
Division General Manager for Lockheed Martin, and additionally held a
number of senior management positions at Lockheed Martin, Lockheed
Corporation and Sanders Associates, Inc.
Steve was also Treasurer at Telco Systems, Inc., a supplier of
Information and Communication Technology equipment for the Regional
Bell Operating Companies. Steve holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in
Economics and a Masters in Business Administration degree from Boston
University.

Ingate’s heart and soul is housed in its Technology Center, located in Linköping, Sweden.
Our development teams and engineers comprise more than eighty years experience in software, hardware and
technology development. As important as the knowledge they have in developing technology, however, is the
fact that all of Ingate’s engineers have real world experience that enables them to relate to the needs of
our clients and partners.
