Ingate has the world’s first SIP-capable enterprise firewalls and SIParators, making Ingate the only choice for enterprises planning to use SIP-based communications such as presence, instant messaging, audio/video conferencing and VoIP.

Ingate firewalls and SIParators are compatible with all existing networks, come standard with a SIP proxy and a SIP registrar, support NAT and PAT and have support for TLS and SRTP to encrypt both SIP signaling and media eliminating the security issue most commonly associated with using enterprise VoIP. Ingate Firewalls and SIParators come in a range of sizes to meet enterprise needs from home office to large enterprise, and have been cited by users and media for ease of use.

VPN is included in all firewalls and SIParators. Ingate also offers several add on modules for you to choose the right features of your network and SIP user licenses and SIP traversal licenses for additional scalability and flexibility, as well as a number of comprehensive online support options to assist with product education and customer service.

Products and Information

Software modules

  • Ingate Enhanced Security module. Provides Intrusion Detection and Prevention tools as well as signalling and media encryption.
  • Ingate QoS module. Enables traffic shaping and prioritization to optimize e.g voice and video quality.
  • Ingate Registrar module. Allows for making the Ingate Registrar the primary registration server.
  • Ingate Remote SIP Connectivity module. Adds the ability to traverse far-end NATs to allow remote workers to connect to a hub site via SIP without adding hardware or software at their location.
  • Ingate SIP Trunking module. Contains additional routing and interoperability functions to connect to a SIP Trunking Service Provider (ITSP)
  • Ingate VoIP Survival module. Allows the Ingate unit at a branch office site to perform basic call routing functions if the connection to the primary PBX at a hub location is unavailable.

Capacity Licenses

  • Ingate SIP licenses. The Ingate SIP capacity licenses measure the use of the product in terms of simultaneous calls which are provided as Traversal Licenses.
