Ingate Presents “SIP Trunking: Everything You Need to Know” Seminars at INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference & Expo West 2008

Avaya Co-Sponsors, Leads New Interactive Sessions on SIP Trunk Architecture; Security Tracks, American Idol Case Study and a SIP Trunk Boot Camp

STOCKHOLM – August 19, 2008 Educating end users, resellers, distributors and systems integrators about SIP trunking is on the agenda as Ingate® Systems partners with Avaya, TMC, leading IP-PBX vendors, SIP trunking service providers and industry thought leaders to offer “SIP Trunking: Everything You Need to Know” seminars at the INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference & Expo West 2008.

Free to all ITEXPO attendees, these seminars will provide a comprehensive overview of SIP trunking, and include general information panels and technical insight sessions from both the service provider and enterprise perspectives. In addition to Ingate’s leading vendor and service provider partners, speakers from VOIPSA, ENUM/IETF and the SIP Forum will be participating.

• Two case study seminars – one featuring a SIP trunk installation for American Idol ‘s production company, the other on bundled SIP trunk solutions – to delve deeper into the issues
• SIP Trunking Boot Camp for “Basic Training” on SIP trunk installations, led by Avaya and Ingate

From sessions on security to hands-on technical training to solving specific installation problems taken from our audience, the SIP Trunk Seminars will have it all,” noted Anne L. Security sessions with VOIPSA will discuss VoIP and SIP trunk security. Additionally, a SIPconnect Compliance Workshop, presented by the SIP Forum, will provide an overview of the SIPconnect value proposition, a "Deep Dive" into the SIPconnect technical recommendation, a step-by-step overview of the SIPconnect Compliant Program application process.”

Live demonstrations, during which participants will set up a SIP trunk in 20 minutes or less on-site, will also be featured.

Attendees can earn a SIP Trunking Professional Certificate by participating in the Professional Development Program on the first day of the Show.

Confirmed Speakers include Avaya, BandTel, Bandwidth.com, BroadSoft, Broadvox, Cbeyond, Digium/Asterisk, Iwatsu, Mitel, ShoreTel and Voxitas. Thought leaders from the SIP Forum, VoIP Security Alliance (VOIPSA) and NeuStar/ENUM IETF will also participate.
