Registrar Module

The Ingate Registrar Module allows for making the built-in Ingate Registrar the primary registration server and permits registrations up to the limits of the hardware platform.

Each user of SIP based communications must be registered on a network server that can resolve the location of the individual. Registrations are made using the SIP Uniform Resource Identifier (SIP URI) which is unique to each user, but maybe associated with multiple devices in different network locations.

One Registration allows one unique user SIP URI (e.g john@company.com) to be registered on the Ingate Firewall or SIParator. The user can have several devices registered, e.g a soft client plus a SIP phone, and still only need one User Registration.

Ingate Registrar Module is available for all Ingate Firewalls and SIParators.
